Short guides to what you can do in 1ClickOps, written for people who have never used a terminal. The only thing you ever type into a server is the one command that connects it; after that, it is all buttons.

- Connect your serverConnecting a server means installing one small program on it, called the agent. It takes one command, once — the only thing 1ClickOps ever asks you to type into a server.
- Deploy an app from a repository1ClickOps takes the code in a repository, builds it on your server and puts it online. Your code goes from your git host straight to your server; it does not pass through us.
Your apps
- Run an app made of several partsSome projects are more than one program: a website, a worker, a search engine. 1ClickOps can run all the parts together as one app with one address, and it says plainly what it will not run.
- Settings and secretsMost apps need a few values that are not in the code: a database password, a key for a payment service, the address of an API. There are two places for them, and which one you pick matters.
- Your own domain and HTTPSEvery app gets a default address. You can also use a name you own, like app.yourcompany.com, and 1ClickOps sets up the security certificate for it.
- Use your own Cloudflare accountIf your domain is on Cloudflare, connect it once and 1ClickOps makes your apps’ addresses there for you, in your own account, with no extra charge from us.
- Staging and “Push live”Staging is a second copy of your app where changes land first. Your live site changes only when you press Push live.
- Run more than one copy of an appCopies run the same app more than once behind its one address, so one that crashes does not take the others with it. Each copy takes memory, so your server decides how many you can have.
- Connect an AI appClaude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI apps can deploy and manage your apps for you. Each connection acts as you, in one workspace.
Data and backups
- DatabasesFour ways to give an app a database: a new one, one loaded from a file, a copy of one that lives elsewhere, or a link to one you keep with another provider.
- Backups and restoreEvery database 1ClickOps runs on your server is backed up once a day without you doing anything. Here is where those backups live, what they do not protect you from, and how to go back to one.
- Backups, restores and what fills your diskWhat is backed up each day, how a restore stays safe, where the copies are kept, and the limit that stops an app’s logs from filling your server’s disk.
Help
- When something goes wrongWhat happens to your site when an update fails, what 1ClickOps does when an app stops answering, and how to go back to a version that worked.
- How 1ClickOps protects your serverThe agent has full control of your server, so this is the guide to read before you trust it: what is checked, what is refused, what we never read — and what could still happen if 1ClickOps itself were broken into.
